Week 3

Hello! Welcome back to my blog! 

As for my weekly college update, this week was pretty interesting. I’ve had to make powerpoint presentations, sketch and….come up with 101 ways to…..KILL A COCKROACH! I’d have to say the last one was the most fun to do! This assignment was for my creative thinking class. It didn’t have to be logical or realistic, we just had to use our creative side and go wild! My group and I doodled on a ‘Mahjong Paper’, which is basically just a big piece of paper, for the assignment. Here is how it turned out: 

It was in another class called 2D fundamentals, where I had to make a powerpoint presentation. My group’s topic was ‘Colours used in playgrounds and preschools’. We have to present it to the class next week. What got me really excited though, was that my teacher approved of my drawing assignment! The object was to simplify a picture and fill it in with only lines and shapes. This is how it looked before making some final touches. 

Moving on to my drawing fundamentals class…our week’s assignment was to just sketch using cross and hatch technique. I had to tediously and quickly create 9 sketches! Here are a few!
